As long-time residents of Port Douglas, we love our town and decided to purchase this site to develop a simple, easy to use information directory, listing a limited number of businesses in a number of key categories together with information about the town we love, so that visitors to this site can learn about Port Douglas and contact local businesses for all their holiday booking needs.
Additionally, as the former owners of “Port Douglas Web Design”, we have extensive experience in website design and positioning on search engines. Our plan is to market this site heavily with all major search engines to achieve prominant postioning, to the benefit of those listed.
Your listing can contain your business name, a short description, photo or logo, phone, fax, email and website address, so that visitors can click through to your site at no cost to you, other than the annual listing fee.
No commissions payable – no hidden costs. Simple, cheap and effective.
How much will a listing cost?
Our introductory price is $99.00 (inclusive of GST) for a 12 month listing, which represents a 25% discount. Your 12 months will not commence until the site goes live - sometime in mid-2008.
Where will my site be placed and how do I get a more prominant position?
Your site will be listed under the appropriate category as shown below. New categories can be added if your site doesn't fit the existing - just ask.
Positioning within each category is determined on a first-come, better position basis - the sooner you sign up, the higher up the listing your site will be placed, and it will remain in that position as long as you renew each year.
How can I get my website listed?

- preferred category (see below - suggest one if it doesn’t exist)

- a short paragraph describing your business
- attach your preferred photo or your business logo
