The beautifully restored, heritage-listed Caves House Hotel offers a wonderful dining experience in its fully-licensed restaurant ‘The Dining Room’. Enjoy a delicious, innovative menu featuring fresh local produce and an extensive wine list. The restaurant has an elegant but relaxed ambience with high back leather dining chairs, polished solid wooden tables and an art-deco fireplace. Alternatively, dine alfresco on extensive jarrah decking overlooking the beautiful heritage gardens.

Complementing the restaurant is the newly refurbished Long Bar. As much a local icon as the historic building itself, the bar plays host to weekend entertainment with local acts, and features large plasma screens regularly screening major sporting events and concerts.

Overview
A scenic 3 hour drive south of Perth, in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region, lies Seashells Resort Yallingup. Originally built in 1905, the present Caves House rebuilt in 1938 is a heritage-listed hotel, an idyllic country retreat, and one of Australia’s favourite wedding and honeymoon hotspots for over 100 years. Today, after careful and loving restoration work undertaken by Seashells Hospitality Group, Caves House has been re-launched to cater for yet another century of traditional hospitality coupled with the latest modern comforts and conveniences.
In addition to the glorious art-deco styling and elegant charm of Caves House, the building and extensive gardens are but a stone’s throw from the beach, the famous Ngilgi Caves and award-winning vineyards.

Attractions
The white sands and dramatic coastline of the Cape Region and Yallingup Beach are only a short stroll from Seashells Resort Yallingup. There is also an abundance of water activities such as diving, fishing, whale watching and surfing famous surf breaks around the area. Yallingup is the home of many Australian surfing and longboard championships.
For the adventurous, explore the extensive limestone cave network 2km in and out of Yallingup or the walk trail system of nearby Leewin-Naturaliste National Park.
For lovers of the finer things in life, a visit to the local wineries is essential. The vast majority of the world famous Margaret River Wine Region vineyards are within half an hour drive of Yallingup. Most contain cellar sales and Brasserie style eateries.
The ever popular Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Simmos Ice Creamery, cheese factories and much more are also only a short drive from the property.
The infamous Ghost Trail walk leads all the way from Seashells Resort Yallingup through to the beach, and cave and wine tours can be booked at reception.
